Biography
Jak Bazino is a French writer with degrees in political science and public relations. He lived in Myanmar (Burma) for over ten years, first under the military regime and then during the transition period, traveling throughout the country and gaining an in-depth understanding of its people, beliefs, and history.
He left Myanmar shortly after the military coup of February 2021, during which he witnessed firsthand the repression orchestrated by the junta against its population.
In 2012, he published his debut novel in French Zawgyi, l’alchimiste de Birmanie.
In 2026, he published his second novel, Breaking the Cycle, in English and in French.
